Favorite Holloween Movies

The Jasmine Maria

Not sure how I missed the info on this link up on Kayyy's blog last week, but her and Jasmine are hosting a favorite Halloween movie link up today...let's participate!

Anyone that knows me for real, knows that I'm not a fan of scary movies...which is pretty much 99% of Halloweenie movies. So me posting for this link up might seem a little silly.

Halloweentown. Because it's a must watch. This movie was too good. And something that defined my childhood. Or part of it at least. I was 10 years old when this DCOM came out, and I still remember how frightened I was by all of the crazies in it! Haha.
Double Double Toil And Trouble. Back in Mary-Kate and Ashley's golden days. I couldn't tell you what this movie was about now...all I remember is a midget dude that lived under a bridge was the one that helped them through most of the nonsense, right. I don't know. I used to love this movie. Time to search for it on Amazon, own it, and reminisce.
And thaaaaaat's about it. I seriously am a lame-o when it comes to Halloween movies. I have seen a handful of scary ones like Saw, Paranormal Activity, The Ring, The Exorcist, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, umm...Cabin Fever, the Strangers...I think that's all of them. Not to include Scream and the Scary Movies because those scared the crap out of me too even though they were supposed to be silly...not for this girl.

Anyways, sorry this was a fail of a post. What are some of your favorite scary movies? Maybe I'll consider them as suggestions and have a movie marathon so I'm prepared for next year!

Sometimes I'm a dummy

Quick short post…

I bought this [expensive] mascara Wednesday afternoon after seeing it on Pinterest.

I was SUPER excited about it and couldn't wait to put it on.
I had some time to kill before an appointment so I figured I’d try it out in the car while waiting.

Overall I wasn't crazy impressed with it, but I did like it. I figured it’d grow on me.

Left the appointment and headed to Keri’s house since I was in the area for some hang out time and a movie: The Mighty Ducks. Quack. Quack. Quack.

I got home and cleaned out my purse only to find that I had lost one [the white one] of the tubes. THE SAME DAY I PURCHASED IT. Searched my bedroom and car for it, no luck :[ I must have lost it at my appointment…which is like 35 minutes away. I don’t really want to go look for it. Now I have a full [only used once!] tube of the primer but no extension fibers. #firstworldproblems

I’m super disappointed because I’m usually so organized and keep track of my stuff pretty well…other than my wallet and phone. Sometimes. When alcohol is involved.

I tried e-mailing toofaced to see if they’d hook it up with another one…but they didn't :[

BLAH! Sometimes I can be a real dummy!

30 DAY CHALLENGE: DAY 03

Today's post is a little later than usual, oops! Thank goodness you all get that extra hour to stay up and read :]

Day 03 – Your favorite movie.

Gah! Similar to music, I also have like 50 different favorite movies, however, my genre appreciation isn't as diverse. I'm a sucker for comedies, musicals, romantic comedies...mostly chick flicks. I absolutely, positively can't sit through a scary movie. I've braved a few, like the Paranormal Activity movies and a couple of the Saw movies, but I just can't hang with the gore and surprises.

One thing that's important relating to my favorite films is that Zac Efron is my favorite actor. I have seen every single one of his movies :] I haven't loved them all... Me & Orson Welles and The Paperboy are definitely at the bottom of my list, but sat through them...because honestly, who can resist this fiiiiiine specimen of man?!!

Unfortunately, none of his movies are my favorite.

My favorites are Blow, Alphadog, Selena, Pretty Woman, aaaaaaand drum roll please....Mean Girls as my number one favorite!         Total. Chick. Flick. and pretty much Lindsay Lohan's peak.

I can be found at the "girls who eat their feelings" table.

and now that I'm done with this blog, I'll go ahead and put that movie in!
