So I failed to post yesterday, and thus officially failed the challenge. But I'll still keep at it :] It just means 2 posts in 1 day!
Day 18 – A photo of your favorite memory.
Meeting Zac Efron is hands down my favorite memory ever. But I've already posted that picture so I might as well tell the story of how it happened!
Here's the picture to serve as a reminder ;]

My best friend and I were crazy obsessed with the kid. Crazy obsessed. When we found out that he'd be in Hollywood promoting HSM 3 on Jay Leno, we decided we must be at the taping. We assumed there'd be girls for days lining up so we planned to leave the night before. We get up to Burbank around 11:00 pm to see nobody in line. We were a little disappointed because nobody was there so we needed to figure out our sleeping arrangements. The studio is kind of a sketchy area of Burbank so we were nervous about sleeping in the car on the side of the street. They have a gated parking so we asked the front desk [they were still open!] if we could park and sleep in there and they said yes! We were pretty excited and weren't able to sleep most of the night, but when we did, the timing was totally off! We fell asleep for maybe an hour or two and by the time we woke up [5:30 am-ish] there was a lady setting up her spot in line. Super bummed :[ Oh well. We set up camp and slowly more WOMEN start showing up. The were all there for Kenny Chesney. And play his music NON STOP! Sara and I were feeling nuts for doing this much just to see Efron, but we were not the craziest ones there. Kenny Chesney has some crazy stalkers and we were among them...they follow him like across the country and stuff! Gates open around 9:00 am and they give us our tickets to the show. We then have to walk around the block to another door to enter the show, but that door doesn't open until 4:00 pm. Ugh! We go around the block only to see someone lined up over there! There were people who had the system figured out. One would camp out in one line and the other person in the other line so either way, they'd still be first in line! Well we chill in this second line for the rest of the morning/afternoon until they let us in the doors!
Shirtless Zac Efron appreciation break.

We're about 6th in line in this second line but when they let us in, they seat us in one of the front rows further to the left side, which kind of made us sad since we were kind of behind the chair where the guests sit so we'd see his side/back of his face. Drew Berrymore is the first guest. Most annoying celebrity EVER! She kept playing with her hair. Her interview couldn't have been over soon enough! Time for Zac's interview. Yay! His actual interview was a blur since we could only focus on his hotness and cheer loud causing him to look over to us a couple of times :] Once his interview was done it was Kenny's turn to perform and Zac chilled on stage watching him. I'm assuming he wasn't too into in since we would look out to the audience instead of watching his performance. Cue resilient Marty. We brought in magazines with him on the cover and every time he would look over to us we would wave them to get his attention and point to them with a sharpie. He just kind of smiled and moved on. Once everything was over he tried to take off through a side door but security wouldn't let him. He had to cross the stage and leave through the door he came in. Cue Marty's loud voice. We were yelling his name, holding up our magazines and he looks over to us. He stops on the stage, talks to a security dude AND THEN WAVES US DOWN!
Hot Zac Efron in a suit appreciation break.
We pretty much sprinted down to the stage leaving behind out purses, wallets, car keys...pretty much everything worth anything. We talked to him for like 5 minutes about his interview and the movie and I got the balls to ask him for an picture :] He so kindly obliged and we got our picture and his autograph [below]. He gave me all his love. Once it was time to peace out, Sana and I floated out of the studio and immediately started crying. We called out parents and friends retelling the amazing situation that just happened. We hopped in the car and headed home, while still crying and continued to cry for 3 hours straight until we got back to San Diego. It was the best day of my life.
