Day 09 – Your dream house (description or photo!)
Well, for one…my dream home would be in San Diego. I haven’t traveled much of the country, or the world, but I know I’ll never love a place as much as I love San Diego <3 The other criteria is that the home must have a yard large enough to play catch.
My dream home actually exists! It’s a big abandoned looking ranch right outside the West side of Rancho Santa Fe off of Via De La Valle. It’s on like 4 acres of property, the house itself is white and looks like it’s 4,000 square feet, and it has a huge horse stable to the side. My mom has worked on that side of town my entire life, and I went with her one time and saw the house and completely fell in love. Unfortunately, for as long as I’ve loved this house, and as abandoned as it looks, it’s never been for sale. I can’t wait to be filthy rich and make the owners an offer they can’t refuse! I was gonna screenshot it on google maps, but that might be too much creeper status.
I’ve never seen the inside, but If this is my dream home and I’m filthy rich…chances are I’ll remodel. One of my favorite features of a home is a Jack & Jill bathroom for kids.
And as long as the master bedroom has a comfortable bed, a large television, and a walk-in closet a la the sex and the city movie, I'm cool.
I don't know how to cook, but I definitely want a kitchen to die for! One of my favorite things I found on Pinterest was a chalkboard wall. I’m super vain with my handwriting…I love it!
In Southern California, a pool is a must. And I must have this!
...minus the swampy-ness of it like the lilypads and cattails. I pretty much just love that trampoline into the pool!
