Insta-Dump: March

1.    YANKEES TICKETS. At. Less. Than. Face. Value. Unless you’re a southern Californian Yankee fan, I don’t think you’ll understand what a big deal this is. Since sophomore year of high school (2003!) I’ve been buying tickets to the Yankees v. Angels games in Orange County for 3x the price, usually spending about $80/ticket for $25 tickets. This is the first year EVER the Yankees will be visiting the Padres at Petco Park. We renewed our season tickets from last year and one of the perks was a pre-sale before tickets go on sale to the general public. Not only was I stoked about this because I was pretty much guaranteed tickets, but our tickets are worth $30 and we got them at our discounted price of $20! I can’t wait for the first weekend of August to get here!

2.    Graduation Tassel. I honestly never thought this day would come. I’ve been farting around in college for 7 years [way to go slacker Marty] and it’s finally coming to an end. So surreal.

3.    Corn stalks I tell ya! We have to write and produce a play for kids in my theater class. We’ve finished our script, memorized our dance number [of course we have a dance number!] and picked a school, all that’s left is our set and costumes and memorizing our lines! Corn stalks are part of our set, here’s the development process! Haha.

4.    I hate gas prices. But that’s not the point of this picture. The point is that I was soooo close to hitting even amounts perfectly. This bothers my OCD. Does it bother anyone else?!! UGH!

5.    I was smiles alllll day Wednesday, it was finally Alicia Keys concert day! I love this picture of myself. Thanks instagram filters :]

6.    I have some friends that just go to bars for the night of their birthday and other friends who go all out and do weekends out of town, limo busses, etc. Monique [friends since elementary school!] fits into the latter description of birthday celebrations and I always look forward to them. This year she didn’t plan anything and I couldn’t make the surprise party her friends threw for her, so I bought the Alicia Keys tickets as a birthday present. Best decision of my life. We both had such a great time! This was taken right before the show started!

7.    Bye Bye Natasha & Derrick :[ Caroline, Natasha, and I at Benihanna’s for Derrick’s [Tasha’s BF] good bye dinner. He just finished his military service with the Marines and is moving back to Pennsylvania. Tasha will follow shortly. Super sad face.

8.    Justin Timberlake. Sold out now :[

9.    Bruno Mars. Sold out too. I tried buying tickets the minute they went on sale…no luck.

10.  Jesus crazies at school. I understand people have their right to religion and stuff, but these people are pretty extreme. They come to campus once or twice a year to preach. They have signs that say “you deserve hell,” call girls whores for wearing shorts and tanks in 75 degree weather, the lady called herself a freaking saint. Ugh. Gives all the normal religious folk a bad name. The freedom of speech and assembly and religion means campus security can’t kick these people off school grounds. But it’s okay. They’re entertaining.
